Developing the conceptual blueprints for digital credential pathways
The Mozilla Foundation works to ensure the internet remains a public resource that is open and accessible to all. Grainne Hamilton was contracted by the Mozilla Foundation to work with the Open Badges team to develop conceptual blueprints for tools and processes that would aid pathways to employment for underpriviledged youth. Conducting research on factors affecting uptake of employment and other positive life opportunities by youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, the team created the concept, blueprints and a mobile-first prototype for Open Badge Pathways, to signpost pathways and enable individuals to use digital credentials to progress towards learning and employment opportunities.
