Defining the Workplace of the Future with the European Commission

The Directorate General for Informatics (DIGIT) of the European Commission (EC) provides digital services that support Commission departments and European Union (EU) institutions, and helps public administrations in EU member countries work better together. We were invited to deliver a masterclass on The Workplace of the Future to Heads of Directorate, Heads of Sector and other personnel from across DIGIT. Using our immersive, collaborative and peer-driven Mesh learning approach, we ran live, online sessions via video conference and online collaborative documents. Weaving theory on open culture and effective practices for hybrid working with the knowledge in the room, the group collectively explored opportunities, challenges, and solutions for the workplace of the future.
